The EQUALS Global Partnership is a group of committed organizations from all around the world, dedicated to bridging the gender digital divide. International Women's Day, celebrated each year on March 8th, is a celebration that reflects our commitment to digital equality.


We believe in the power of girls and women in tech. To commemorate International Women’s Day 2021, EQUALS is shining the spotlight on programs and courses that support girls and women along the path of their digital lives. These resources, events and courses can help girls and women develop new digital skills, advance their careers and unleash their potential to be #EQUALSinTech, every step of the way.

EIF Digital Event: Creating space for women in trade during COVID-19

To celebrate International Women's Day, we will discuss the importance of creating a gender responsive trade ecosystem to help women integrate or remain in value chains in times of COVID-19. UNESCO Round-table

UNESCO and the World Economic Forum present Girl Trouble: Breaking Through The Bias in AI on International Women's Day, 8 March, 3:00 pm - 5:30 pm (CET). This timely round-table brings together a range of leading female voices in tech to confront the deep-rooted gender imbalances skewing the development of artificial intelligence.

Mentorship


GSMA EQUALS Tech4Girls e-mentorship launch

The EQUALS E-Mentorship programme offers participants of Tech4Girls workshops, young women aged 18-25, the opportunity to be matched with mentors who contribute to their professional and personal development.


ITU Women in Cybersecurity mentorship launch

The ITU Women in Cyber Mentorship Programme is designed to empower women in the cybersecurity sector. The programme engages role models and leaders in this field and connects them with talented women worldwide.
